When not performing as Jean, I’m Sophia Hirsch (they/them); an actor, theatre-maker and HE drama educator. Originally from San Francisco, CA. I moved to London in 2019. Since then, I have been producing and performing in London’s theatre and nightlife scene. I co-created the Kaleidoscope Theatre Festival of new work and theatre and events company, Discoland, which centres FLINTA performing artists. I have taught on MA, BA and part-time courses at Mountview, Identity, ALRA, Italia Conti and the Cours Florent in Paris, teaching acting and lecturing in Queer and Feminist theatre-making. Currently, I am Senior Actor Tutor on the BA at Mountview.
